EC rejects Opposition's demand over VVPATs

The Election Commission on Wednesday rejected requests of Opposition parties that VVPAT slips be coordinated with EVM information before tallying starts tomorrow for the Lok Sabha decisions. The Election Commission said there would be no adjustment in methodology of coordinating Voter-confirmed paper review trail (VVPAT) slips.
